There are several communities located near Mount Baker in Glacier and Maple Falls. In Glacier there are a two gated communities, one non-gated community, and a couple of condominiums and time shares. The gated communities near Mt Baker include Snowline and the Mt Baker Rim. Just down the highway west of Glacier is the community of Glacier Springs. Further west down the Mount Baker Highway is the town of Maple Falls. Cascades West is the primary community located in Maple Falls.
